En route to Brighton from London, after seeing The XX, and my giddy lord they really were fantastic. Some of the best live voices/music i’ve had the pleasure of witnessing (although nothing beats Athlete). I’m now happily munching on some Ryvita topped with egg mayo yummm and looking forward to getting into bed with Jake :)
AAAAHHHH CRAAMMMMMMMM
cramming something major for my economics exam tomorrow afternoon.
And repeat for business and history next week, despite having work all weekend :D
I am up at an ungodly hour again, but this time with sneezing and nausea and a sore throat, and thinking “please god I know I’m not a particularly religious person but please for the sake of my sanity don’t let me get ill again like I did in the Easter holiday cuz that was almost as bad as when I had pneumonia.” I really cannot afford to get ill during exam period, I will fail and my finances will take an awful dent come September for re-sits.
I gave into Jake yesterday regarding hair colour, seeing as mine went fucking orange. So he told me what hair dye to buy, AND he put it on for me today. Plus there is very little hair dye remains on my neck/face/ears. Bloody know it all :(
Well Jaz managed to make one pot of directions on my whole head - will probably have to buy another one tomorrow just in case!
definitely getting into one of those self-pity phases again -
i have no money; my exams are in less than a week and half of them don’t make sense; i feel pretty fucking ugly at the moment; my mum’s leaving this week apparently and lord knows if she’ll come see me before she goes; etc etc.
i know there’s far worse off people out there, but just because i don’t live in a third-world country it doesn’t mean i’m not allowed to have a shit day.
also i’m aware that was a very selfish comment, sorry.
and it’s hard to dance with a devil on your back, so shake him off
